Summary

Due to the limitations of energy and terminal voltage in power batteries, electric vehicles require the combination of multiple batteries in series and parallel. However, due to the nonlinear and time-varying characteristics of power batteries, as well as complex operating conditions and demanding environments, effective management is necessary to ensure that the power batteries operate within a reasonable range of voltage, current, and temperature. This is especially crucial for nickel-hydrogen batteries and lithium-ion batteries.
