The OBC (On-board Charger) for new energy vehicles is an electric power electronic device used for charging the vehicle's power battery. It is a vehicle-mounted charger commonly known as OBC. The vehicle-mounted OBC refers to the fixed installation on new energy electric vehicles, providing the capability to safely and automatically charge the vehicle's power battery to full capacity.

The vehicle-mounted OBC dynamically adjusts the charging current and voltage parameters based on the data provided by the Battery Management System (BMS) of the vehicle. It executes the corresponding charging instructions to complete the charging process.

For most new energy electric vehicle users, charging at home or at the workplace is the most common and ideal charging method. This helps avoid the inconvenience of frequently visiting DC charging stations.
